History

Owned by Apple employee who worked at Flatiron building on Apple IIc. For auction at Bonhams on March 12, 2019.
Sold at Bonhams auction March 2019. The curator of the Apple-1 Registry, Achim Baqué, is the new owner.
It was on exhibition at Vintage Computer Festival West 2019 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View.

Components

White ceramic CPU MOS 6502 (3776), plastic PIA Synetics SY6520 (7630), 8 KB ceramic DRAM (not original, wrong date code 7702). 7 blue capacitors, 1 yellow capacitor.


Equipment

Original Apple Cassette Interface Adapter.


State

Working. PROM at A1 was missing parts of 3 legs. Restored 2018. Breadboard populated with empty sockets including a few wires on the back. Other modifications at breadboard done by former owner were removed in 2018. Probably all original parts except DRAM.
Cables soldered to the ACI board replacing the 1/8” audio sockets. Some traces cut on the back are fixed.
