Bonhams auction


Luckily this Apple-1 was not cleaned for auction.


Second owner got this Apple-1 and ACI as a gift to the the second owner by Steve Jobs. he was a childhood friend of Steve Jobs. The Apple-1 was traded-in at Apple for an Apple II by the first owner.
It was auctioned at Bonhams NYC December 5, 2018. The curator of the Apple-1 Registry, Achim Baqué, is the new owner.

White ceramic MOS MCS 6502 (1576) CPU. Plastic AMI S6820 (7601) PIA. Some chips have been replaced. White ceramic DRAM from 1977. Modern L7905CV.More replaced chips: 7410, 74166, 2513,


Original NTI Apple Cassette interface with label "No Good!" (but it works). GRI keyboard from 1977 (serial #1649). Stancor power supply with original boxes probably from the 70's. Panasonic RQ-309DS Cassette Recorder from 1977, Hitachi VM-900U monitor from 1987, 2 tapes (not from 70's/80's). The wooden case is not one of the famous 70's wooden cases.
