Description

Modifications were performed on the board by the original owner (presumably for additional memory), involving cutting traces and running wires.Stamp on the back.


History

Bought probably 1977 and kept for over 39 years in Dayton, Ohio, USA.
Sold 2016 at eBay auction for only US$ 60,300. Low price due to condition of the auction.

Components

White ceramic Synertek SY6502 CPU (7702), white ceramic MOS MCS 6520 PIA (0722), 8 KB plastic DRAM. 5 blue and 3 yellow capacitors.


Equipment

Original Apple Cassette Interface (NTI). Original Operation Manual, original Preliminary BASIC Manual. Apple-1 ad.


State

Board has been physically modified - traces have been cut and jumper wires run up to the breadboard area. Added and cut wires at switch board. Added sockets at breadboard. Added wires on the back.
CPU and PIA from 77, so changed or added later. Somy chips like four 74S257 added 1993. Hole drilled at voltage regulator.


Remarks

The low price may be due to the circumstances of the auction.
